Heat detector

Heat detectors include two models: Rate-of-Rise and fixed temperature.

Rate-of-Rise:

In this model, if the temperature in the environment increases between 6.7 to 8.3 degrees Celsius per minute, it will trigger the activation of the detector. These models are typically used in areas where a rapid increase in temperature indicates a fire.

Fixed Temperature:

A fixed temperature detector measures the ambient temperature and alerts the panel when it exceeds a certain threshold.

Design Standards:

Heat detectors cover a radius of 5.3 meters, but their placement should be such that no area falls within their blind spot.
